This painting comes directly from my heart, as an art therapist i treat violence against women and PTSD as well as many other human issues ..but this particular topic led me to become a therapist in the fist palce and coming from a personal experience of such a terrible and cruel encounter i must say that the most delicate moment is to get back all of your pieces together once you are finally free..
And that takes a lot of time and effort.
Patchwork made of tiny pieces - one by one, step by step, thought after thought - we come back to life, because we are survivors and love will always win and find it's way through anything! Because we are so much grander and greater and magnificent than any indecency that we might run into.
Happy to be alive and to still have so much to give!
